The McAlpine Notes
List of images bought from Bloomsbury Book Auctions
Theses images were acquired from me by Alistair McAlpine C1973. We bartered for a fine copy of Rackham's Alice Adventures In Wonderland, first seen in the book shop opposite the Waddington Galleries in which Alistair had the foremost share.

Early Ovenden History
My aunt, who later married the head gardener and became Mrs Curtis, was nanny to the McAlpine children and as such I spent summer holidays at Badgemoor House (the MacAlpine principle home) as a child of 8-10 years. Unfortunately the new MacAlpine butler (not the original, Mr Bone I think his name was, as kindly a man as a child would wish to know) had an appetite for little boys and buggered me twice. I must emphatically say that Alistair in no way, or the MacAlplne family and my beloved aunt for that matter, had any knowledge of these events. The sheet above and the naming of Alistair MacAlpine as the owner of these images was presented to the Attorney General and the head of the CPS in the original dossier (a folio of some 50 sheets of evidence). Copies of these documents were passed on by them to the Metropolitan Police and thus to Maddox and his colleagues. Further investigation has shown Maddox & Co to be the originators of the unfounded rumors laid against Alistair MacAlplne - It can only be assumed that my association with Lord MacAlpine some 40 years ago Is their reason for such criminal vindictiveness.
